Bidell Gas Compression in West Virginia is seeking a skilled Pressure Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld pressure vessels and related components for natural gas compressor packages, interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of welding experience on pressure vessels, can read blueprints and welding symbols, and can set up components for welding while using various processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding/manufacture experience on pressure vessels.
• Read and interpret welding symbols.
• Read blueprints/drawings; take/read measurements.
• Basic math: fractions and decimals.
• Determine welding process per job specs/code.
• Pass 100% X-ray welds consistently.

Responsibilities

• Perform oxyacetylene cutting on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
• Bolt vessels in positioner for final welding.
• Use GMAW/MCAW/SMAW/SAW welding processes.
• Maintain production documentation and stamp welds.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Read drawings; ensure proper fit up.
