Role Overview

Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder II. This role involves working from shop drawings, procedures, or instructions to perform welding operations for the assembly of final products, sub-assemblies, and components, adhering to ASME Code Safety Regulations. The position is located in Delaware, Ohio, and is fully on-site.

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting Pay: $25.00
• Schedule: 1st shift 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders to prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
• Execute welds according to company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment.
• Identify and implement safety improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience on pipe or pressure vessels.
• Welding certification in accordance with ASME standards.
• Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
• Troubleshooting skills related to fitting and welding.
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Methodical, organized, and precise approach.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
