Job summary

OsecoElfab seeks a Hydro Testing Operator to support our manufacturing of rupture discs and holders. You will determine test pressures, set up flange configurations, operate torque wrenches and lifting equipment, and perform hydraulic pressure tests with data recorded for each lot.

You will ensure leak-free assemblies meeting specifications, while maintaining schedules and following OE safety policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules, procedures and manuals.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements and unit conversions.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to solve problems with multiple variables in routine situations.
• Basic computer skills to navigate business systems and enter data.
• Accurate data entry into ERP time-tracking systems.
• Experience with SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or D365.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective multitasking for workflow management.
• Able to lift/manipulate flanges up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use hand tools and read torque wrench settings.

Responsibilities

• Determine required test pressure for assemblies.
• Set up appropriate flange set for assembly size.
• Operate hand tools (torque wrench, impact wrench, etc.).
• Operate forklift, winches and lifting equipment for flanges.
• Perform hydraulic pressure testing.
• Record testing data on forms.
• Operate presses, ovens, shears and related equipment.
• Ensure products are leak-free and meet specs and timelines.
• Notify supervisor of issues and adjust plans to keep schedules.
• Check parts meticulously to exceed customer expectations.
• Communicate OE values and adhere to safety policies.
• Follow OE Handbook and Safety Policies.
