Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Houston, TX is seeking a Pressure Test Technician with experience in production and manufacturing of gas skids and process units. You will follow safety procedures, handle testing equipment, and work with customers and colleagues to ensure quality and timely results.

The role requires reading P&IDs, using hand and pneumatic tools, and performing pressure tests, oil flushing, and vacuuming. Minimum 1–5 years industrial experience is preferred; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Make decisions (right tool for the job).
• Ability to act quickly in case of an emergency.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Use of basic hand tools and pneumatic tools (pipe wrenches and impacts).
• Read and understand P&ID’s.
• Threaded piping and using a threading machine.
• Experience in pressure testing, oil flushing, and vacuuming of different systems.
• Minimum of 1–5 years of relevant industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Represent Enerflex professionally.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Maintain own tools and Enerflex equipment.
• Set up testing equipment for pressure testing complete units.
• Install blinds, gaskets, studs and fittings.
• Test units at specified pressures and record data.
• Report leaks or defects to supervisor.
• Repair leaks within scope of work.
• Set up oil flush and vacuum/ purge units.
• Record test results and data.
• Clean up equipment and work area.
• Perform daily 5S responsibilities.
