Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Pressure Test Operator to perform testing of manufactured pieces based on customer PSI and time limits to ensure quality standards.

The position requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and safe operation of test equipment. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with training on 1st possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
• Inspects and tests components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blueprints and customer and company instructions.
• Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test.
• Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank.
• Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by customers to ensure quality standards.
• Utilizes tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms.
• Observes test for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets.
• Regularly stands, walks, uses hands, reaches, talks and hears; may lift up to 25 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Pressure Test Operator to join the team. This position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. 1st Shift: Mon - Friday; 6:45AM - 3:15PM

2nd Shift: Mon - Thursday; 3:15PM - 1:45AM with $1.00 shift differential (MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st)

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.

• Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
• Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
• Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
