Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Crawfordsville, IN is hiring a Stacker Operator to run and monitor stackers, robots, and palletizers in a team-based setting. Hands-on training will help you advance in a manufacturing environment.

You'll perform safety inspections, machine setup, and continual quality checks while adapting to a 12-hour shift pattern with a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in a production setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections and operate equipment according to established procedures.
• Set up machines for the next print run.
• Monitor 2 stackers, 2 industrial robots, and 1 robotic palletizer.
• Assist with machine printing functions as needed.
• Conduct frequent quality checks to maintain production standards.
• Perform bi-weekly maintenance tasks as assigned.

Starting Pay: $22.00 - $27.40 per hour (Day Shift) + 7% Night Shift Premium Location: Crawfordsville, IN (North Plant: 1009 Sloan Street | South Plant: 600 State Road 32 West) Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | Consistent Day or Night Shift

Physical & Technical Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry 20-60 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with assistance
