Job summary

Mittera Group is seeking Roll Tenders to support the press team in Pineville, AL. You will ensure a steady supply of roll paper and assist with press setup, take-down, and maintenance to keep production on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and 1–3 years of press experience, strong reading and math skills, with good communication and organizational abilities under deadlines. The role involves physical work and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of press experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and memos.
• Clear communication with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to perform basic math for practical problems.
• Interpret written or verbal instructions and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Verify roll inventory against job ticket.
• Record roll numbers and weight.
• Prep and stage rolls for splicer.
• Move, hang and position rolls and supervise prep work.
• Check oil levels and dump/clean overflow pans as needed.
• Hang plates on the press and assist with make-ready/backups.
• Return paper to inventory and complete job paperwork.
• Maintain clean work areas and support continuous improvement.
