Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Terre Haute, IN is hiring a Sakurai/Press Operator 1 to set up and run screen printing jobs, verify customer specifications, and maintain quality standards on the Sakurai press. The role requires working 11pm–7am, Monday to Friday, at 200 Hulman St.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, perform basic math, work as a team, and have a high school diploma or equivalent; mechanical or technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirm screen print matches customer specifications and set up job/machine accordingly to accurately print and maintain quality standard set by customer.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

$23.00 - 26.25/hr ($1.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

Additional Incentives:

As our Sakurai Press Operator 1, you will:

• Confirm screen print matches customer specifications and set up job/machine accordingly to accurately print and maintain quality standard set by customer
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 12 hours, and bend/reach for extended periods of time
• May be exposed to liquid chemicals and damp environments
• Previous experience with printing/screen printing preferred
