Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Blanker Operator in Neenah, WI for a 1st shift role with hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm. This is a potential-to-hire position with a wage of $18.71/hour.

The role requires basic manufacturing experience and involves setting up and operating a press, maintaining quality, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to meet deadlines, and be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot problems with equipment and to make on-line adjustments.
• Ability to accurately calculate figures such as quantities and stock measurements.
• Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and specifications.
• Set up and run press, install punches, knives, and extra unit punches as needed.
• Adjust presses to correct quality deviations and meet specifications.
• Produce orders to plan and meet scheduled yield.
• Package product as directed on customer orders.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on the press.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Offer recommendations and training to improve pressroom efficiency.
