Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Press Technician for a Manitowoc, WI position on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will operate presses and follow checklists to ensure production flow that meets customer specifications.

You must inspect brass casings for cosmetic and functional defects using precision instruments and utilize Plex production software. Additional duties include mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues while adhering to safety rules and PPE

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.
• Experience with large press machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses and follow checklists to production flow meeting specs.
• Inspect brass casings for defects using calipers and micrometers.
• Utilize PLEX production software effectively.
• Perform mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
