Staffmark Group in Kennesaw, GA is hiring a Press Technician to support HP Indigo Series 3 and Series 4 presses in a fast-paced production environment. The role focuses on uptime, quality, and safe operation while collaborating with HP support teams and onsite engineers.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot diverse systems, assist with startups and upgrades, and maintain clear pass-downs and service documentation. High school diploma and Indigo certifications preferred.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience maintaining digital presses or similar industrial equipment.
• HP Indigo certification or HP tech training preferred.
• Reading schematics and performing RCA.

Looking for Press Technician jobs in Kennesaw where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.

We are hiring Press Technicians to support our customer and help them maintain theirHP Indigo Series 3 & Series 4 digital press fleet. This role ensures equipment uptime, print quality, and smooth production operations in a fastpaced, hightech environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HP Indigo Series 3 & 4 presses
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic issues
• Partner with HP support teams and onsite Field Service Engineers (FSEs) for diagnostics and escalations
• Maintain UTKs, service documentation, and accurate spare-parts inventory
• Support equipment startups, installations, upgrades, and new product launches
• Uphold strict safety standards (PPE, Lockout/Tagout, chemical handling, ergonomics)
• Respond to HelpDesk tickets and resolve equipment downtime quickly and accurately
• Perform remote diagnostics with Level 1/2 teams
• Rebuild major components, optimize machine operations, and support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to deepen technical understanding across systems
• Assist with press operation during peak periods or emergency coverage required
• Maintain excellent communication, including clear daily pass-downs

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience maintaining digital presses or comparable industrial equipment
• Strong preference for:
  • HP Indigo certification, HP Tech Training, or Indigo Academy coursework
  • Experience with HP Indigo Series 3, Series 4, 18K, or 7250 presses
  • Experience with Canon iX inkjet nice to have!
• Strong technical proficiency in:
  • Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting
  • PLCs, sensors, stepper/servo motors, motion control systems
  • Electrical wiring, control panels, and safety interlocks
  • Reading circuit diagrams, relay ladder logic, and performing RCA
  • Using voltmeters, ammeters, and precision diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and document work clearly
• Comfortable working overtime, weekends, and peakseason schedules
• Maintains positive working relationships and supports a collaborative team environment

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HP Indigo certifications (any level) strongly preferred
• Commitment to continuous learning through HP trainings, tech events, forums, or bestpractice exchanges

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to reach, bend, and stoop safely during equipment service
