West Fraser is seeking a Press Support Technician to maintain safety and efficiency in the Press Area. The role involves responding to production issues, operating or assisting with mobile equipment, and supporting housekeeping tasks. A 12-hour rotating shift is required, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production issues in the Press Area and assist the Control Room operator when needed.
• Use mobile equipment for waste material disposal.
• Identify problems in the Press Area and fix them accordingly.
• Assist in down day housekeeping responsibilities such as ice blasting of the press and press pit cleanup.
• Train in operational roles, understanding new processes and ideas, and be able to prove developmental progression.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership team.
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
