LG Electronics is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Press department in Tennessee. You will be responsible for daily operations planning, start-up information delivery to line leaders, and training management for operators and technicians.

The role focuses on maintaining high production efficiency and strict quality standards in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee payroll for Press staff, enforce 5S and FI-11 standards, monitor material usage, and collaborate with multiple

• High School Diploma required.

• Monitor and enforce plant policies and procedures.
• Assist Manager with reviewing operator and technician performance.
• Manage quality systems in the Press department.
• Monitor product quality and address internal customer issues.
• Meet daily performance targets for Safety, Quality, IF Cost, Idle Time, UPH, and 5S.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Make radio calls to PM and AGV technicians as required.
• Maintain payroll for Press employees.
• Apply corrective actions to Press personnel.
• Ensure efficient use of materials and supplies.
• Understand and enforce FI-11 and 5S standards.
• Attend production planning meetings and trainings.

Annual Salary $67,000

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating the daily Press operations plan
• Responsible for providing the line leaders with daily start-up meeting information
• Responsible for managing the training needs of Press operators, technicians and line leaders
• Responsible to verify raw material availability and report any shortages
• Monitor and enforce plant policies and procedures
• Assists Manager with reviewing the work performance of operators, technicians and line leaders
• Responsible for managing the quality systems in the Press department
• Monitor product for any quality issues and respond to internal customer issues, as needed
• Achieve established daily performance targets for Safety, Quality, IF Cost, Idle Time, UPH & 5S
• Interact with other functional departments as necessary
• Make radio calls to PM & AGV technicians as required
• Maintain payroll for Press employees
• Apply corrective actions to Press employees as required.
• Ensure materials / supplies are used efficiently
• Understand, teach, personify, and enforce FI-11 & 5S standards
• Attend production planning meetings, other meetings, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 5+ yearsof Productionexperience
• Experience in mentoring and/or coachingOperators
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
• Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
