Job summary

North American Stamping Group is hiring for a 3rd shift role focused on packaging and assembly. You will pack components from presses, sort, fill, package, and palletize according to specifications.

The position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and safety, with a 10% shift premium on the 3rd shift and a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 52 weeks. Qualification requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to read English work instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic math.
• Must read and understand work instructions in English.
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
• Prefer previous experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack components produced from the press.
• Sort, Fill, Package, & Palletize product to packaging specifications.
• Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties.
• Load coils as required from cradle to reel.
• Feed strip of material up to the feeder to be readied for production.
• During a press changeover, move all equipment back to storage locations.
• 5-S as a PRIORITY - Keep station clean and orderly.
• Keep incoming empty containers in proper locations.
• Report all Quality, Production or Safety problems to the Team Lead.
• Ensure finished product is labeled and staged for Material Handler pick-up.
• Write & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area.
• Understand and follow all safety rules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• High school diploma or GED - minimum
• Basic computer skills and demonstrated basic math skills
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English

Experience:

• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
• Prefer previous experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment.

• Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required
