Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Walker, MI is seeking a Weekend Press Operator to join the production team. You will operate presses, set up dies, load materials, and feed processing equipment while inspecting products and maintaining a clean, safe 5S work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience. You must read safety rules and quality docs, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in a loud environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write safety rules, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, and handling tasks.
• Ability to work in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval.
• Assist in setting up dies and related equipment following standardized instructions.
• Ensure proper material loading and efficient feeding into processing equipment.
• Inspect products at defined intervals according to work instructions and inspection records.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Press Operator Weekend to join their team. As a Press Operator Weekend, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Walker , MI

Pay Range:

Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm
