Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Press Operator on weekends to join our client’s manufacturing team in Walker, MI. The role supports production operations with a focus on correct press setup, material handling, and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience, with the ability to read and follow safety rules, work instructions, and quality documentation in a loud environment requiring PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval.
• Assist in setting up dies and related equipment following standardized instructions.
• Ensure proper material loading and efficient feeding into processing equipment.
• Inspect products at defined intervals according to work instructions and inspection records.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Press Operator Weekend to join their team. As a Press Operator Weekend, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Walker, MI

Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm

What's the Job?

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Three to five years' related experience and/or training or equivalent
• Ability to read and write safety rules, work instructions, and quality documentation
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, and handling tasks
• Ability to work in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts and wear PPE as required
