Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a manufacturing client in Walker, MI by seeking a Stamping press Operator Weekend to join the production team. The role focuses on operating stamping presses, setting up dies, loading material, and maintaining safety standards.

The schedule is Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm, offering full-time weekend hours and opportunities for skill development within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years' related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write safety rules, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, and handling tasks.
• Ability to work in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stamping press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval
• Assist in setting up dies and related equipment following standardized instructions
• Ensure proper material loading and efficient feeding into processing equipment
• Inspect products at defined intervals according to work instructions and inspection records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards

As a Stamping press Operator Weekend, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Walker, MI

Pay Range:

Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00am-5:00pm
