Job summary

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Press Operator Trainee in El Monte, CA to perform troubleshooting, monitor press systems, and assist operators to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities include checking specifications, loading/unloading presses, inspecting panels for accuracy, recording material usage, and maintaining a safe work area. Overtime and weekend work may be required; ITAR/EAR compliance may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience or training is a plus but not required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work any shift, over-time and weekends.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Check process specifications against work orders.
• Assist loads and unloads press.
• Understand basic press function and operation.
• Assist in inspecting panels for correctness and document traceability.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and use PPE.
