Job summary

Ace Precision Machining, a leading supplier to aerospace and defense industries, seeks a Press Operator / Sheet Metal Technician. You will form and fabricate precision components for aerospace and defense applications, using a variety of sheet metal processes.

Responsibilities include setting up fabrication equipment, reading drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and maintaining safety and quality in a regulated environment. Competitive benefits and multiple shift options are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related sheet metal or fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and routings.
• Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Interpret sketches, routings, and product specifications to determine part requirements and manufacturing sequence.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, forming presses, rolls, expanders, sandblasters, and hand grinders.
• Form, bend, cut, and straighten sheet metal to meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Perform final deburring and finishing operations on completed parts and assemblies.
• Assemble components into supporting frameworks per drawings and specifications.
• Repair and rework sheet metal assemblies as needed, including disassembly and re-fit.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and Pi tapes.
• Follow safety, quality, and documentation requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do
