Job summary

Wagner in Germantown, WI is hiring a Press Operator B to set up, adjust, prepare and operate punch presses and drill & tap machines on a diversified line with close tolerances. You may move stock via overhead crane or forklift and ensure quality documentation.

The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Second shift runs Mon-Fri 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM with a $5.00/hour premium for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or apprenticeship related to press operations is a plus.
• 2-5 years of related experience in press operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read/measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses after setup, including automatic feeds.
• Align dies, adjust gauges, and ensure safety devices are engaged.
• Move sheet/coil stock with overhead crane or forklift.
• Inspect materials and document data in the operating system.
• Maintain organization and safety per 5-S principles.
• Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
