Job summary

VAL-CO is seeking a full-time Press Operator at our Coldwater, Ohio facility. You will operate production machines, read basic blueprints, and adjust settings to meet specifications while maintaining safety and quality. Training is provided onsite with no prior experience required.

Competitive starting wages with a top-out wage, plus a quarterly bonus and PTO/floating holiday after a 90-day probation. Opportunities exist for advancement to skilled positions such as setup, laser, welder, and more.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required—training onsite.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
• Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
• Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
• Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area
