In this role, you will operate and monitor press equipment, ensure product quality, perform routine equipment maintenance, and support efficient production operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.**Key Responsibilities*** Operate press equipment safely and efficiently while following all company safety procedures and policies.* Monitor all phases of the press operation through the press control panel, making process adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards.* Perform basic troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment or process issues and coordinate repairs with Maintenance when necessary.* Set up and perform material and color changeovers, including changing filters, purging systems, cleaning receivers, and restarting production.* Clean and maintain molds, mold lids, equipment, and work areas to support quality and 5S standards.* Calibrate equipment and tools as required.* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.* Label finished products, sheets, and skids accurately.* Maintain responsibility for production output, material quality, and inventory accuracy.* Complete operator preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule.* Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material confirmations using the company's ERP system (Movex).* Print manufacturing orders, enter work orders, monitor material balances, and follow production schedules.* Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.* Monitor master batches and perform bulk density checks when required.* Communicate production status, equipment issues, and shift updates with incoming and outgoing team members.* Maintain a clean, organized work environment through housekeeping and continuous improvement (5S) initiatives.* Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and leadership while supporting departmental and company goals.**Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED preferred.* Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.* Forklift operating experience or certification preferred.* Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Basic computer skills and experience using production or ERP systems is a plus.* Ability to use measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.* Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and reliable attendance.* Adaptable, dependable, and motivated to learn new skills while growing your career in manufacturing.**Why Join Our Team?*** Competitive hourly pay starting at $23.51/hour* Stable manufacturing environment* Opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career* Collaborative team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement**Pay Transparency**The salary for this position starts at $23.51.
