Velocity Group in Cambridge, OH is hiring a Press Operator to oversee injection molding machines and produce plastic parts. This full-time, non-exempt role requires safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work long shifts in a high-volume environment.

You will set up presses, follow job orders, and monitor quality while meeting production targets. On-the-job training is provided for applicants with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Performs typical press operations.
• Execute instructions from job orders with accuracy.
• Set up and adjust presses for job runs to meet specs.
• Initiate start-ups and runs to align with production schedule.
• Follow established safety guidelines.
• Report defective materials or conditions to supervisor/QA.
• Meet production quotas and track scrap units.
• Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure quality.
