*7pm - 7am with rotating weekends*

Summary/Objective:

Operator IIis responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing production equipment. To be considered MUST HAVE 3 + years previous experience with digital printing in a commercial setting.

Applicants withprofessional printing experience in a manufacturing setting.Work isoperating and maintaining digital printing production equipment. Set up, operate, and monitor HP Indigo digital presses to produce high-quality prints.Set up, operate, and monitor Canon Oce Vario digital presses to produce high-quality prints.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years professional printing experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • HP indigo series 3 or 4 experience preferred or Canon Oce Vario (high speed continues fed)
  • Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility.
  • Experience working in a detail oriented and deadline driven environment.
  • High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets.
  • Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications.
  • Operate print machine(s) independently for all types of jobs.
  • Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory.
  • Digital print operators perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency.
  • Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients.
  • Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards.
  • Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements.
  • Reconciling/recording for all output.
  • Accurately use job data capture to track time.
  • Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards by monitoring the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output.
  • Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor.
  • Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day and able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
