Job summary

North American Stamping Group is seeking an experienced stamping press operator to safely and efficiently run stamping presses, prioritizing quality and production efficiency following NASG Press standards.

You will perform setup/changeover, inspect parts, and report issues promptly while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and workplace safety. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Demonstrated basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain 5-S standards in the station.
• Initiate press start-up and adjust after setup.
• Changeover and setup of stamping dies and presses.
• Adjust process parameters from the Die Set-up sheet.
• Set up and adjust coil feeders and straighteners.
• Part inspection per inspection instructions.
• Update Die Set-up sheets and report to Leaders.
• Verify production schedule in Shop Edge system.
• Report quality, production or safety issues to the Team Leader.
• Maintain 5-S standards in area of responsibility.
• Suggest improvements via continuous improvement plan and program.
• Available for overtime as required.
