Job summary

Vari-Form Manufacturing Inc. seeks a skilled stamping press operator to oversee and operate automatic presses, ensuring parts meet quality specifications as per customer requirements. The role includes monitoring production, releasing first pieces, and completing necessary paperwork on the stamping lines.

You will assist in die changes, use an overhead crane, and support other stamping line areas to achieve production plans, while maintaining punctuality and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with automatic, transfer or progressive stamping presses preferred.
• Experience with press and die set up preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, set up and operate automatic stamping press.
• Monitor press operations to ensure quality product is produced effectively.
• Verify first piece product release and complete related paperwork.
• Complete required production reporting paperwork.

Make changes, adjustments and theperform operation of automatic presses, based on work instructions, for stamping parts that meet the quality requirements to comply with customer specifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee, set up and operate automatic stamping press
• Monitor press operations to ensure quality product is being produced effectively
• Verify first piece product is released and all paperwork is completed accordingly
• Complete production reporting required paperwork
• Use of overhead crane
• Assist in performing die changes
• Assist in other areas on stamping lines to achieve production plans
