Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sumter, SC is hiring for a manufacturing role to fabricate, assemble, test and package medical devices. Requires a high school diploma or GED and basic assembly experience. You will operate and troubleshoot production equipment and follow SOPs in a collaborative team setting.

The position offers a non-climate-controlled, hot production area with a hot environment. Eye exams are required onsite, and normal hours include a rotating 3 days on/2 off, 2 on/3 off schedule with 8

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, test and package medical devices following SOPs and quality guidelines.
• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in production.
• Possibly conduct quality inspections on the processing line.
• Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Pay Rate is $18.50 an hour

F Shift-3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. weekends included. 8 PM to 8 AM

Eye Exam Is Required Onsite.

THIS IS A NOT A CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT, IT IS A VERY HOT WORKING ENVIRONMENT DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.

High School diploma or GED is required for this job assignment.Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Has good attention to detail. Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment. Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 50 pounds.
