Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Press Operator to join its manufacturing team. You will operate printing presses, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities include makeready per job tickets, conducting quality checks, maintaining a clean work area, recording material usage, and following BRC standards to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete makeready according to the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
• Perform all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks.
• Operate press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality during the production run with critical checks on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Complete procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
• Complete press makeready efficiently.
• Complete all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Clean plates, cylinders, ink pans, and lubricate press as needed.
• Input all required information into the GlobeTeks system for material usage and time.

• Completes all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Cleans plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricates press as needed.
• Inputs all required information into theGlobeTeksystem for material usage and time inan accurateand prompt manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
