AMTRIM Limited is seeking reliable production team members for offline press operations on 1st shift. Experience is a plus, with base pay 17.70–19.70 USD per hour and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Manual dexterity to handle parts at required rates.
• Knowledge of press, dies, and setup operations.
• Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, labeling procedures.
• Written and oral communication skills.

• Previous press operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily job assignments and maintain a steady production flow efficiently.
• Meet quality goals established by process documentation.
• Follow Process Data Sheets and routing files for production.
• Adhere to safety standards (JSA/ESA/ASA) and environmental requirements.
• Monitor transfer system, scrap buildup, and report issues to supervisors.
• Inspect parts for defects and inform line leader of repeated issues.
• Record inspection results and follow packing instructions and PPE rules.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

What are the hours and pay?
1st Shift: 5:55AM-4PM Monday-Thursday, plus overtime as needed

• Base Pay $17.70-$19.70 based on experience, per hour

What is the job?

• Complete daily job assignments and maintain a steady flow of production in an efficient manner
• Be responsible for quality goals established by process documentation
• Be responsible for production as defined by process and routing file and Process Data Sheets
• Comply with safety standards: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA), and Area Safety Analysis (ASA)
• Ensure that job is run in environmental compliance after instructions from supervisor/environmental group
• Monitor the mechanics and travel of the transfer system, the build up of scrap items resulting from the process, and report problems to appropriate personnel for correction
• Monitor parts visually for defects. Alert line leader to repetitive defects, part number changes. Remove defective parts
• Perform work according to Process Data Sheet, to include: completion of inspection log; follow pack-out instructions, including operation of hand lift; and operation of portable ovens
• Record and report inspection results to supervisor
• Notify line leader or supervisor when inspection data is out of tolerance
• Perform routine housekeeping in work area(s) as required
• And other duties as assigned

• Repeated lifting, packing of items (3 to 6 lbs.).
• Requires some heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. of a non-repetitive nature.

• Must work as part of a work team.
• Requires standing, walking and/or moving about for time periods in excess of one (1) hour.
• Requires some sort of repetitive turning and/or lifting motions to be performed
• Work overtime as needed
• Work with pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, changing priorities.
• Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills preferred.
• Work with all levels of employees.
• Perform position requirements while wearing eye, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
