Job Description

• This position is for a 12-hour rotating night shift (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday).
• The individual will start on 2nd or 3rd shift and transition to the 12-hour rotating shift as the plant shifts in Q1.
• Night Shift is eligible for a $3/hr shift differential.

Requirements

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset press.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections, and checking for correct image positioning, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality standards prior to production.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn parts as needed.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and skills to perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications to determine necessary press setup materials.
• Sufficient knowledge of press capabilities to determine appropriate use and corrective adjustments.
• Understanding of proper packing pressure for different jobs.
• Skill in using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.
• Routine operational maintenance and minor repairs skills.
• Ability to adjust feeders, guides, and timing for optimal operation.

The pay range is $22.22 to $36.05 per hour, with actual pay based on education, skills, experience, and other factors.
