Job summary

Prestige Stamping LLC in Warren, Michigan is seeking a focused Press Operator to support high-volume production of tight-tolerance metal stampings for automotive and other industries.

You will operate press machinery, monitor quality, load coils, and follow safety procedures on Day or Midnight shifts. Candidates must be 18+, pass a physical, lift 50 lbs, and work well in a team with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machinery to produce quality parts according to production requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect machinery and equipment before use and report safety, operational, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor part quality and coordinate with Quality Control to address issues.
• Load coils, monitor cradle operation, and ensure correct steel size and grade.
• Safely handle, band, and return coils as required.
• Remove and install die sections and die shoes following safety procedures.
• Monitor steel alignment and make adjustments to maintain production.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete production paperwork (E.O.R. tickets, hopper tags, tool correction forms).
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and work instructions.
• Communicate equipment, quality, material, or contamination concerns promptly to supervisors or team leaders.
• Assist with other production-related duties as needed.

Prestige Stamping LLC is a high volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers and other small metal stampings. We provide stampings to the automotive, construction, agriculture and heavy truck industries.

Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of:

Press Operator

Day & Midnight Positions Available

Day shift Hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Midnight Shift Hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Job Responsibilities:

As aPress Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operate press machinery to produce quality parts according to production requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect machinery and equipment before use and report any safety, operational, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor part quality throughout production and work with Quality Control to address any issues.
• Load coils, monitor cradle operation, and ensure the correct steel size and grade is being used.
