DCG ONE is seeking a Press Operator for the 4PM–8PM shift to join our Sheetfed Print Department on the production floor. You will operate presses, maintain quality, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet client timelines.

The ideal candidate has three years of printing press experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment. DCG ONE offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional printing press experience.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• May be required to pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Interact with the press schedule and ticket accordingly.
• Serve as a team lead and primary point of contact for Press Feeders within the Sheetfed Print Department, providing guidance, support, and operational direction on applicable presses while maintaining no formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Heidelberg SM52 printing press.
• Interact with pressroom clients professionally.
• Produce quality print in the most efficient manner.
• Follow pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock, and samples.
• Perform needed maintenance on the presses.
• Maintain presses and pressroom in a clean and professional manner.
• Use and maintain the Image Control unit.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with the press schedule and ticket accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• In-depth understanding of printing presses with three (3) years of professional experience in the field.
• Experience communicating with various functional groups while translating project strategy.
• High school diploma or GED – or equivalent experience
• May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
