Electrical Automation Services is seeking a dependable Press Operator to join a stable, long-established production team on a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, alternating weekly with required weekend work. This role operates lithographic decorating equipment and maintains print quality, while supporting changeovers on a can decorating line.

You will change plates and inks for production changes, document issues, communicate with production staff and management, perform quality inspections, and help

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous lithographic printing experience preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and shift rotations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, production staff, and management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain can decorators to ensure optimum print quality.
• Change plates, inks, and other materials for production changeovers.
• Safely operate lithographic decorating equipment to maximize production output.
• Monitor print quality and identify material-related issues.
• Document material issues and work toward timely resolution.
• Communicate equipment and production concerns with production personnel, management, and the Director of Lithography.
• Work with production personnel to contain suspect or rejected products.
• Perform random quality inspections throughout production.
• Determine production supply needs and secure required materials.
• Document work performed, errors, and equipment faults.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce scrap and waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete assigned work accurately and on time.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels of production supplies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, local, and customer requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Foster strong working relationships by communicating issues and sharing ideas with teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position offering long-term career stability within a strong, established team.This role works a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift (12-hour shifts) on an alternating schedule that changes weekly, and includes required weekend work. Shifts may be traded with similarly trained teammates as needed.
