Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses, linear transfer systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform press changeovers, adjustments, and production startups
• Set up and adjust coil feeders, straighteners, blanks, and related equipment
• Maintain process parameters according to setup specifications
• Complete quality inspections using gauges, measuring tools, and visual inspections
• Document production, inventory, downtime, and quality information using ShopEdge
• Identify and report non-conforming materials and production issues
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping activities
• Maintain 5S workplace organization standards
• Escalate quality, safety, or production concerns to leadership
• Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem-solving initiatives
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements for safety-critical parts

Job Duties

• Operate stamping presses, linear transfer systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform press changeovers, adjustments, and production startups

• 2 Years manufacturing in an assembly / manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to work with a dynamic and demanding team.

• Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.

• Ability to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible.

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products
• Ability to work around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
