Job Description

MAT Industries Inc., part of MAT Holdings Inc., manufactures air compressors and air brake tanks in Jackson. We produce high-quality products under brands like Powermate, Industrial Air, and Sanborn, sold through major retailers across the US.

Position Summary

REQUIRED: Experience setting up and operating presses, including progressive presses.

• Follow all safety regulations and promote safety among co-workers.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints for product specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections of work.
• Maintain and report on equipment condition and safety concerns.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and retrofits on production equipment.
• Provide data to monitor and track project progress.
• Assist in training and inspecting junior employees.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and projects.
• Sign off on work orders and quality checks.
• Stay updated on technological and safety changes.
• Participate in developing a LEAN manufacturing culture.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 2 years' experience operating presses and overhead cranes.
• 2+ years' experience with LINK systems automation controls.
• High school diploma or GED.
