Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate forging press machines to produce components.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials.
• Monitor operations and adjust to ensure quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers for quality.
• Troubleshoot press machinery issues and resolve as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Set up, adjust, and operate forging press machines to produce metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production requirements.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload materials into machines
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with press machinery.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.
• All other duties as assigned
