Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Press Operator to ensure the forging unit runs according to standards and work instructions. Responsibilities include operating forge/trim presses, handling cassette removal/installation, repairing tongs, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on a production floor.

The role requires standing for extended periods, manual handling of parts up to 20 pounds, and following standardized work and control plans to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced metal forming

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 10 hours and manipulate parts.
• Parts could weigh up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forge press and/or trim press.
• Repair forging tongs as needed.
• Forge/trim cassette removal/installation as needed.
• Keep the area clean with a 'clean as you go' mentality.
• Perform minor maintenance on die spray equipment/air blow off.
• Ensure timeliness on the floor.
