Dauch Corporation is seeking a Press Operator to ensure the forging unit runs according to standards and work instructions. Responsibilities include operating forge/trim presses, handling cassette removal/installation, repairing tongs, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on a production floor.
The role requires standing for extended periods, manual handling of parts up to 20 pounds, and following standardized work and control plans to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced metal forming
Press Operator
The Forge Press Operator is responsible of ensuring that the forging unit is functioning as called out on Standardized Work, Control Plan, and other plant processes. Other responsibilities include quality of the product, ensuring safe operations of the equipment and associated personnel.
Ability to stand for 10 hours and manipulate the parts through the process. Parts could be up to 20 pounds.
