Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover equipment in the cell.
• Operate equipment and perform changeovers per standard work.
• Troubleshoot processes and perform preventive maintenance.
• Understand material scheduling and manufacturing concepts including CI.
• Follow safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate basic math, machine design, drawings, lubrication and hydraulics knowledge.
• Train new employees and may assist with advanced PMs.
• Lead training and troubleshoot machine operations.
• Perform PMs and basic repairs.
• Have basic PLC/CNC knowledge and read schematics/drawings.
• Design and implement POKA YOKES during machines prove-offs.

Job Description Summary

Performs machine operations on a single machine while producing the desired quality and quantity of parts having shoulders, steps, tapers, threads, unusual contours, exact tolerances, and other precise machining functions.

Job Description:

• Possess full knowledge of setup/change over of all equipment within the cell/line, and perform them at standard operating rates with minimum downtime
• Operate equipment and change over Primary/Secondary equipment within the cell/line per standard work practices.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of process trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, change management procedures, gauging techniques, and perform all quality functionality.
• Understand material scheduling processes, MANMAN reporting, machine scheduling, and manufacturing theories including continuous process improvement.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safety and environmental policies and procedures and be able to recognize potential safety hazards.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic math concepts along with machine design, stage drawings, process troubleshooting, lubrication and hydraulics.
• Train new employees and may be required to perform advanced level functions including preventive maintenance functionality.
• Function as the lead training and trouble shooter for all machine operations.
• Perform all levels of PMs and also perform basic repairs.
• Have an applied knowledge and understanding of basic PLC/CNC programming, schematic/drawings, troubleshooting equipment, and simple mechanical/electrical designs
• Participate in all machines prove offs and be able to design and implement POKA YOKES
