Job summary

HiFyve is seeking a Press Operator in Fairfield, OH for 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, and monitor production press equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications, load materials, read work orders, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

You will inspect parts using measuring tools, document production records, and ensure a safe, organized work area while adhering to PPE requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production presses and following work orders.
• Ability to read blueprints and production specifications.
• Competence with measuring tools and gauges for part verification.
• Adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production press equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.
• Load materials and components into presses and safely remove completed parts.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, and overall quality.
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production and quality standards.
• Use measuring tools and gauges to verify parts meet required specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records throughout the shift.
• Follow all established safety procedures, including proper machine guarding and PPE requirements.
• Perform basic equipment checks and communicate mechanical or quality issues to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
