Job summary

Kelly Services in Duluth, GA is seeking a Press Operator to join a premier manufacturing client. You will deliver high-quality screen prints on plastic media in a fast-paced chocolate production setting and operate 35x35 silk screening machines.

This role offers a starting pay of $18.50 per hour with a shift plan that starts on first and transitions to second after a few months, plus a path toward temp-to-hire.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in screen printing.
  • Experience with screen printing or t-shirt printing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality screen prints on plastic media in a chocolate production setting.
  • Operate small format 35x35 silk screening machines to meet production schedules.
  • Create color banks and mix colors to exact specifications for various design requests.
  • Maintain inventory of screens and screening supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise.
  • Create and execute operational procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Stand throughout the shift to operate and monitor equipment.

What’s a typical day as Press Operator? You’ll be:

  • Delivering high quality screen prints on plastic media within a specialized chocolate production setting
  • Operating small format 35x35 silk screening machines to meet production schedules
