Job summary

RRD is seeking a production operator to support imaging and press make-ready processes in our Indiana facility. You will load materials, adjust feeder mechanisms, and deliver components for setup to keep the press running efficiently.

The role requires basic presswork knowledge, ability to follow setup instructions, and experience operating hand carts and pallet jacks. RRD offers comprehensive benefits and a structured manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running.
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper.
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation.
• Recycle old/discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recylcling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.
