Job summary

Legacy Staffing, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company in Newbury, OH, seeks a Mold/Press Operator (Injection Molding) to work on all shifts. You will operate injection molding presses, inspect and package parts, and follow precise instructions to ensure quality in a clean, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setup of new jobs, troubleshooting quality issues, and maintaining safe practices with hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools and small parts.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding presses and secondary equipment to produce parts to quality standards.
• Inspect, trim, coat, bond, and package molded parts according to procedures.
• Follow job instructions and specifications to ensure product quality.
• Detect and report defective materials and accurately track scrap.
• Operate secondary equipment such as sonic welders and adhesive bonding tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S standards.
• Set up new jobs and operate multiple machines as needed.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrate safe use of hand tools and equipment.

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Newbury, OH to hire a Mold / Press Operator (Injection Molding). We are hiring for all shifts with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00/hour based on shift (1st shift: $17/hr | 2nd & 3rd shift: $18/hr). This role focuses on operating injection molding equipment, producing high-quality parts, and supporting efficient, safe manufacturing processes in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate injection molding presses and secondary equipment to produce parts to quality standards
• Inspect, trim, coat, bond, and package molded parts according to procedures
• Follow job instructions and specifications to ensure product quality
• Detect and report defective materials and accurately track scrap
• Operate secondary equipment such as sonic welders and adhesive bonding tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S standards
