Job summary

Legacy Staffing, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company in Newbury, OH, seeks a Mold/Press Operator (Injection Molding) to work on all shifts. You will operate injection molding presses, inspect and package parts, and follow precise instructions to ensure quality in a clean, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setup of new jobs, troubleshooting quality issues, and maintaining safe practices with hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools and small parts.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Reliable attendance and a positive, flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

Operate injection molding presses and secondary equipment to produce parts to quality standards.
Inspect, trim, coat, bond, and package molded parts according to procedures.
Follow job instructions and specifications to ensure product quality.
Detect and report defective materials and accurately track scrap.
Operate secondary equipment such as sonic welders and adhesive bonding tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S standards.
Set up new jobs and operate multiple machines as needed.
Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
Demonstrate safe use of hand tools and equipment.
