Gestamp, a global automotive components company, seeks a Maintenance Press Technician in New Mexico to perform setup, preventive maintenance, and repairs on large stamping presses and feed line equipment.
You will read manuals, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, install parts, and follow OSHA safety rules while supporting continuous improvement through standardized work practices.

Maintenance Press Technician conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of PLC Design software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Must be willing to obtain a forklift license, overhead crane license as well as an elevated lift license.
Work with PLC and ladder logic controls troubleshooting. Electrical schematic reading ability along with hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. Electrical background with the ability to troubleshoot relay logic of voltages ranging from 5volt to 480 volt.
