Job summary

Del Conca USA is seeking a Press Operator to run tile presses, monitor production, and ensure quality during a full-time shift in our Loudon, TN facility.

The role requires operating machinery, performing die/frame changes, maintaining safety, and communicating with supervisors to maintain efficient, safe production. Candidates should have at least 1 year in manufacturing and be able to work independently; we offer a stable team and a clean, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate tile presses according to established procedures and production schedules.

Position Summary

The Press Operator is responsible for operating tile presses in accordance with established procedures to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency. This role involves monitoring press operations, inspecting product quality, performing die and frame changes, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Operator must be able to identify and correct production or quality issues, communicate effectively with supervisors, and follow all safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate tile presses according to established procedures and production schedules.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
• Inspect green tile regularly to verify compliance with quality specifications.
• Lift and handle green tile as needed throughout the shift.
• Change dies and frames based on production orders and requirements.
• Perform die and frame transfers as needed.
• Modify press settings to correct production or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area always.
• Alert supervisor to any issues affecting production or quality.
• Record production and quality control data as required.
• Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safety.
