Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems Incorporated in Mississippi seeks a Production Supervisor with 3–5 years of leadership experience to oversee extrusion press operations on site. You will review production plans, guide the press crew, and ensure billets and temperatures meet specifications.

You will inspect materials for defects, train new hires, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with management on cost and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with press operation preferred.
• Must read and use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, digital gage tables).
• Must be able to read blueprints and parts drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO certification and processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules to determine billets, parts per billet, and temperatures for extrusions.
• Direct the press crew and ensure proper billet temperature settings.
• Continuously inspect material for die lines, tears, scratches, and non-conformances.
• Address employee inquiries and provide thorough training for new team members.
• Recommend improvements to the Production Supervisor related to policy, process, quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives and participate in customer tours as requested.
