Job summary

cclcareers is seeking a Press Operator Helper to support the press team in accordance with company procedures. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role involves assisting the press operator with setup, preparing next orders, and maintaining inventory at presses.

The candidate should be able to read safety rules and manuals, communicate effectively, and work in a loud pressroom environment with ink exposure. Training or prior related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Basic Function/Summary

To support pressman in accordance with company procedures.

• Prepares next order for press
• Cleans press with Press Operator
• Sets up press with Press Operator
• Maintains supply inventory levels at presses
• Cleans pressroom
• Additional duties as directed by the Pressroom Supervisor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Skills/Aptitudes:
