Job summary

CCL Industries Inc. in Fuquay-Varina, NC is seeking a Press Operator Helper to assist the press operation and prepare orders in alignment with company procedures.

The role requires reading and interpreting safety and operating manuals, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods. You will support press operators, maintain supplies, and help keep the pressroom clean in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience as described: High School diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Basic Function/Summary

To support pressman in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Prepares next order for press
• Cleans press with Press Operator
• Sets up press with Press Operator
• Maintains supply inventory levels at presses
• Cleans pressroom
• Additional duties as directed by the Pressroom Supervisor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma of GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education an experience.

Skills/Aptitudes:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
