Job summary

Burlington Graphic Systems is seeking a production helper to support press operations on site in Racine, WI. Responsibilities

• Set up feed system of presses to keep production flowing smoothly.
• Continue running jobs when the operator is away to avoid downtime.
• Prepare production stock to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Assist Operator with the approval process for job readiness and quality checks.
• Familiar with all press control panels and their functions for quick troubleshooting.
• Maintain and complete any required company documents related to production.
• Assist Operator with preventative maintenance when necessary to reduce downtime.
• Help ensure finished jobs meet customer specifications; perform press adjustments as needed.
• Keep the immediate work area clean and organized to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Basic Function

Feed stock in a manner in which variation is within acceptable tolerances.

Specific Duties

• Set-up of feed system of presses.
• Continue running jobs in the absence of the operator.
• Preparing production stock to maximize efficiency.
• Assist Operator with the approval process.
• Have a working knowledge of all press control panels.
• Maintain and complete any company documents.
• Assist Operator with preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Assist Operator to ensure that finished job meets customer specifications. (adjustments to press)
• Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
• Do all other duties as assigned.
