Job summary

ResourceMFG in Aberdeen, NC is seeking a manufacturing/operator to set up and run CNC and manual press brakes. You will read blueprints and work orders, select tooling and machine settings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

You will inspect parts with precision gauges and maintain production records, working with the team to hit schedules. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for specific jobs.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other precision tools.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Load, position, and unload sheet metal materials.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain production records and report issues to supervisors.
• Work with team members to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating a press brake, metal forming equipment, or other manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measuring skills.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
